A bit of Christmas spirit for you.

This post is for all those who are surrounded by green or brown. Since I can't change your weather, I'll do the next best thing. Give you some pictures of our weather.
Yesterday morning before I left the house. It cleared up quite a bit before I left though. I don't mind driving in that, but it isn't my favourite thing to do. Hard to see animals and stupid people don't slow down and drive for the weather either.

This is on the road to my LYS.

It is a very beautiful drive.

This is on the highway to the next town.

The setting sun.

Tomorrow, the start of a redneck Christmas tree. I'm not really sure what it says about me that I immediately thought of things to add to it to redneck it up even more. I thought of a way to personalize it for cops too. I think I may be deluding myself into believing I have a bit of sophistication.

Seven knitting days left. I have to go now.

  • lovely snow! We're having such a wierd fall/winter that it looks like we'll have ZERO snow for the hoidays. :-(

  • Thank you - I've been stomping around here complaining that it just doesn't FEEL like Christmas yet. (Not that we usually have snow, but we've generally had a couple of good frosts by now.) So your snowy pictures are much appreciated. (Even if they do make me mad jealous!)

  • Mmmm. Snow and pine trees! It is still freakishly warm here in Boston, but that doesn't mean that we couldn't have two feet of snow next week. The weather here is nothing if not unpredictable.

  • Thank you, Dorothy!!! If I start feeling glum because of our sunshine, I'll just come back here. These pictures are wonderful!

  • My gosh, how beautiful! You won't believe it, but it's snowing outside over here - very lightly though, but still... and no pollen in the air anymore, yay ;) I so wish for a similar winter wonderland like you have for Christmas - there's still hope! Love your pics, as always!
