It's beginning ...
... to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere I go ...
I know, I know you don't want to think about that yet, but I love Christmas. So bright, pretty and full of hope and dreams. The happy anticipation of watching someone open a gift you just know that they are going to love. All the beautiful lights and decorations. The food, oh the food.
Good thing Christmas is far enough away that I can delude myself into believing that I can knit enough to give as gifts for at least 8 to 10 people and dishcloths for the ladies in the shelter.
I better get knitting!

I love the snow shots! But, I'm also happy that it's not happening here yet :) (it's only about 20 here today)
Almost makes me want to put some Christmas music on and do some baking - I said almost! :)

Soooo pretty. You live in the most beautiful place Dorothy! Today's picture is like a Christmas card - and I'm just like you - love Christmas but also happy to have a few months left yet to prepare :)
It's POURING here so at least that's incentive to stay indoors and get some of that knitting done. Happy weekend!

I am so jealous. We were promised snow and NOTHING!! Today it's 66. Where's my fall? Darn it!

Ok Dorothy. I know I haven't known you for long and I know that you surely have no malicious intent, what with all your beautiful snow pictures and your bragging about the fabulousness of your weather and feeling like Christmas but you are starting to make me jealous.

You can keep the snow! It was so nice and warm and sunny here today. It was almost 20 degrees! (Nova Scotia) I do like Christmas, but I don't like the cold.

I love the snow -- so beautiful! Over the past 10 years, I've lived in New Mexico, Texas, and now California. I miss the snow so much!
Christmas is my favorite holiday. And, imo, it's never too early to get into the Christmas spirit! ;-)

Oh yesss, the food! That's my fave part of Christmas to be honest - the weeks after, when I'm throwing the scale out of the window and live off warm water and dry bread, aren't that fun then though ;)
I love your snow shots, even though I'm pretty shocked to see so much of it so early in the year! Is this a normal occurance in your part of Canada around this time of year, or is it too early for you guys over there too?

The snow pictures are very pretty, but you sure can keep it to yourself! :)
