Saturday Sky, New Girls and Grandmother Purl

She's a right misery out today. Fall has arrived and it's just in time for the Great Big Sea concert tonight. It should be a good one. We wanted to go, but $110.00 just for tickets as well as babysitter money and a few cold ones for the Mr. is too much for our budget right now. So we'll open the windows, sit in our nice dry house and hope to catch a note or two.

My newest girl Autumn. She's a very pretty bit of yellow just as things are closing up shop and heading south.

My girl Saturday. She's a beauty and she knows it.

Another one on the way.

The other girls are full and I can see the white lines coming out on the seeds right along side the black. Soon.

You "know" her, you love her, you read about her Grandmother ending up in a convalescent home recently. Now, you can show Crazy Aunt Purl some love by knitting an 8" natural fiber square for her Grandmother. Head over to Grandmother Purl's blog and see what it's all about and where to send the squares.

By the way, yes the Honey Wagon is the septic truck. If you gotta put up with crap all day, you might as well have a sense of humour about it.

  • It is nice to see some color coming out even so late in the summer. Beautiful!

Did you see on the G'mother Purl site that we posted some buttons? As soon as I hear from Laurie, I'll put the others up, too.
