This commercial cracks me up and brings to mind someone I know.



To say that Newfoundland has it's own language would not be far off in some cases. Not all Newfoundlanders talk like that, but there are some.

Edited to Add: SP, the CBC used to put subtitles on NL interviewees? That is the funniest thing I've heard all day! Eh, B'y!!

  • I love that ad...and I understand every word even though I've never been to Newfoundland. I guess just being from the East Coast helps.

    actually i love that commericial..i'm from NL and i sometimes have a problem understanding people.. also, i remember when CBC used to put subtitles on people interviewed from NL
