Sky and fun, I hope.

Today's sky is a beautiful blue and after the rain yesterday, the snow has gone down a bit and I have hope for an early spring. Maybe this year the children will be able to search for Easter Eggs outside in t-shirts. It's pretty rare to have no snow at Easter here. Although last year we didn't have much left. The odd bank in the bush.

Remember these? Some of you won't, but some of us do. Toddler, strap-on, dual blade ice skates! We only had brown, white or black when we were little, but when presented with the choice of brown, white, blue and pink, you know Girly was taking the pink. There isn't any Kindergym today so we are going to see if the outdoor ice rink is clear and not too busy. Girly really wants to go skating.

I'll let you know if I come back bruised and feeling clumsy. It shouldn't be too bad since I'll be in boots. Girly will have a ball.

  • We usually have "White Easters" here too - no matter how great and spring-like the weather was before, around Easter time we usually got one of our last shares of snow. I highly doubt this is going to be the case this year though!
Cool skates indeed - have fun skating!

  • Oh, those skates are brilliant. I've never seen strap-on ice skates, only strap-on roller skates. Awesome.
