Thanks for all the commiseration on my not getting a job yet. I appreciate it. I will keep on trying, it's just been a long time since I had trouble getting a job and it's been reminding me that maybe I am not the greatest. ;)

  • Stop that kind of talk! Any time you move outside your comfort zone and put yourself in a position to be judged, the rejection absolutely bites. That is no reflection on you personally.

    When we couldn't sell our house, people told us the "right buyer just hasn't come along yet." It's a load of crap, but it did make us feel better.

    So.

    The right job just hasn't come along yet.

  • I am confident that you will get a job that suits you. If your search is narrow (for example, narrowed by a low population density), the challenge is that much greater.
